Lake Oswego’s Carlo Cremona earns his spot in the Photo of the Day from LO’s win over Lakeridge
It’s an image etched in time.
It’s a moment captured at a fixed point and saved for the future.
It’s the Photo of the Day.
In this case, for Monday, Sept. 26, the Photo of the Day came from Lake Oswego’s Carlo Cremona — a senior — during his team’s 18-11 Three Rivers League win over Lakeridge at Lake Oswego School District Pool.
Cremona led his team in scoring against the Pacers, and while this shot didn’t find the mark, it made for a great image. With the Lakers up 4-1 after the first quarter and pressing their edge in the second period, Cremona tried to bat home a pass at the left edge of the Lakeridge goal. Cremona connected, but not cleanly, and the ball sailed over the Pager goal and out of bounds.
