Lake Oswego’s Ashleigh Yob earns her spot in the Photo of the Day from LO’s loss to Lakeridge

In this case, for Monday, Sept. 26, the Photo of the Day came from Lake Oswego’s Ashleigh Yob — a junior goalie — during her team’s 18-8 Three Rivers League loss to Lakeridge at Lake Oswego School District Pool.
While the Lakers ended up on the wrong end of the final score, Yob and the Lakers battled throughout. In this image, Yob rises up out of the water and reaches up with both hands to try and block a short shot by Lakeridge’s Sydney Brandvold.
